Apna Staff ("the App") is a domestic staff salary management application developed by Tailwebs Technology ("we", "us", "our"). This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our App.
1. Information We Collect
Data Stored Locally on Your Device
All your staff, attendance, salary, and payment data is stored locally on your device only. We do not have access to this data, and it is never uploaded to any server.

Anonymous Usage Analytics
We collect anonymous usage data to improve the App experience. This data cannot identify you personally.

3. Advertising
The App displays advertisements through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers to serve personalized ads. On iOS 14.5+, you will be asked for permission before any ad tracking occurs (App Tracking Transparency prompt). You can choose to deny this permission and still use the App normally.
4. Push Notifications
The App may send push notifications for:
- App updates and new features
- Tips and usage suggestions
- Festival greetings
You can disable promotional notifications in the App's Settings screen or through your device's notification settings.
5. Data Storage and Security
- All personal data (staff info, attendance, salaries) is stored only on your device
- No personal data is sent to our servers or any third party
- Anonymous analytics data is transmitted via HTTPS (encrypted in transit)
- The App works fully offline — no internet connection is required for core functionality
6. Data Retention
- Local data: Stored on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App
- Analytics data: Retained by Firebase for 14 months and by Mixpanel per their retention policy
- Crash reports: Retained by Firebase Crashlytics for 90 days
7. Your Rights
- Delete local data: Uninstall the App to remove all locally stored data
- Opt out of analytics: We plan to add an analytics opt-out toggle in a future update
- Opt out of ads tracking: Deny the App Tracking Transparency prompt on iOS, or reset your Advertising ID on Android
- Opt out of push notifications: Toggle off "Promotional Notifications" in App Settings
8. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by the "Last updated" date at the top. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
